A familiar problem. A reusable foundation.
Quote calculators keep being rebuilt. Different industries, different brands—often the same underlying system.
Five pieces.
One recurring problem.
A service business asks questions, applies conditions, calculates a price, presents a result and captures a contact. A spreadsheet can do part of that. A custom form can do another part. Holding the whole thing together is where the repeated work begins.
Hardcoded prices spread across application code. Form logic drifts away from pricing logic. The business updates a rate, and old estimates lose their context.
OpenQuoteStack separates those responsibilities so each one has a clear place.
Data is portable.
Logic is explicit.
The Schema describes questions, conditions and rules as validated data. The Engine evaluates that data independently of the application. A published revision gives each customer session a stable configuration.
This separation matters when you move a calculator, reuse pricing in another application, or need to explain a historical quote. A total alone is not enough; retain the answers, rules and result that produced it.

Self-hosted.
Your brand.
A business should be able to understand its pricing system and control where customer data is stored. Self-hosting makes infrastructure a choice. White labeling makes the customer experience belong to the business.
AGPL-3.0-only permits commercial use and requires covered source sharing when modified software is offered over a network. It keeps improvements to hosted versions available under the license.
The project is early. Its current capabilities and limitations are documented, and architectural decisions are available to inspect.
